CMN welcomes Werner Bahlke as Director of Operations

June 28, 2006 - Convergent Media Network (CMN) is pleased to announce that Werner Bahlke has joined the company as the new Director of Operations. Bahlke will oversee all areas of operations and productivity at CMN, including administration, development, network operations, and customer service.

Bahlke brings 20 years of experience in software project management to CMN. In his most recent positions, he was Vice President of Product Development for WBEM Solutions, Inc. and Software Engineering Director at Sun Microsystems, Inc.

At Sun Microsystems, Bahlke led an 80-person global engineering organization developing system management applications. He oversaw the first JavaTM implementation of a CIM and WBEM, a new heterogeneous management standard by the Distributed Management Task Force, and acted as product boss for Solaris Easy Access Server, a software add-on for the Solaris operating system that generated between $20 to $30 Million internal and external revenue for Sun.

At WBEM Solutions, Bahlke led a geographically dispersed engineering organization that developed systems and network management software. He was responsible for product planning, business development, customer support and software development management.
